Manuscript Formatting
Please submit manuscripts as email attachments to joe@greenstreetpress.com
Prepare manuscripts in Microsoft Word: .doc or .docx (not Adobe Acrobat - .pdf). Keep the formatting as simple as possible.
Use the ruler at the top of the Word screen to set the margins. You can use the Microsoft Word default settings.
Do not use tab or space bar to indent the first line of a paragraph. Use the little triangle in the top ruler. If you use tab or space bar, I have to go through the entire manuscript and remove each and every tab stop and space.
Please, please, please, never use the cap lock key. Capitalize only the first letter of the first word of titles, subtitles, etc. That gives me more flexibility in typesetting the book.
It doesn't matter what font you use because I'll probably change it anyway, so use something readable such as Times New RomanArial, or Courier New.
If you have any questions about this, please call me before you waste a lot of time.
